A table worth the trip · New York, United States
The chrome-and-neon facade at 110 Atlantic Avenue dates to 1951 and was kept intact when this long-shuttered Cobble Hill bar-restaurant was revived in 2013. Inside are high-backed leather booths, an L-shaped polished-wood bar, Art Deco touches and laminated diner-style menus. The cocktail list is short and classical, and the kitchen is a real one: deviled eggs, fried cheese curds, spaghetti and a dry-aged burger with a following of its own.
A 1951 Brooklyn bar-restaurant where the cocktails and the burger are both worth the trip.
