An 800 m ridge above Taiwan's East Rift Valley where ~300 hectares of orange daylily farms erupt into bloom each August–September, with pavilion viewpoints over the valley's rice paddies.
Beloved by Taiwanese day-trippers, nearly absent from international itineraries that rarely leave the Taipei–Taroko corridor.
