A bar the night ends up in · Marrakech, Morocco
Billed as the first wine bar in Morocco, Le 68 is a narrow industrial-styled room at 68 Rue de la Liberté in Guéliz, fitted out with barrel stools and wine-bottle lighting. Owner Benoit keeps several hundred references by the glass and the bottle, from Moroccan bottlings to European imports. The kitchen is unapologetically French — charcuterie and cheese boards, raclette, tartiflette, oysters, boeuf bourguignon — served late alongside the pours.
Morocco's first wine bar, still a cramped Guéliz room where the list beats the decor.
