The experience
The symbolist painter's own house at 14 rue de La Rochefoucauld, converted by Moreau himself into a museum in 1895 and opened in 1903. His preserved first-floor apartment sits below two floors of studios hung floor-to-ceiling with roughly 1,200 paintings, most of them sketches and unfinished works.
