A bar worth the late walk home · Marrakech, Morocco
A cafe-bar on Rue de la Liberté in the gallery quarter of Guéliz, with a minimalist ground floor, a concept store selling Moroccan and African design, and a planted second-floor roof terrace. It runs all day and deep into the night with a full bar — Moroccan, French, Italian and Spanish wines, draught and bottled beer, cocktails — and a kitchen that swings from Moroccan reinventions to pizza. DJs play several nights a week and the walls carry rotating exhibitions.
The Guéliz rooftop where the city's design and gallery crowd actually drinks.
