The experience

One of the oldest buildings on the Butte, at 12 rue Cortot, where Renoir kept a studio and Suzanne Valadon, Émile Bernard and Raoul Dufy lived and worked. Since 1960 it has told the story of Montmartre's artistic and cabaret years, with gardens replanted to match the canvases Renoir painted on the spot.
